A three-wheeler battery is a high-capacity rechargeable power source used in autos and e-rickshaws to operate the motor (in EVs) or support electrical systems in fuel-based vehicles.

1. Lead-Acid Battery

   • Most common in e-rickshaws

   • Low cost, easy availability

   • Needs regular maintenance and water top-up

2. Lithium-Ion Battery

   • Lightweight, fast charging

   • Long lifespan (up to 5–7 years)

   • Used in premium electric autos

• Voltage: Typically 48V or 60V

• Capacity: 80Ah to 120Ah (or more)

• Weight: 30–60 kg (lead-acid), much lighter in lithium

• Life: 1.5–3 years (lead-acid), 5–7 years (lithium)

🔧 Maintenance Tips:

• Charge fully after each ride

• Avoid overcharging or deep discharge

• Clean terminals regularly

• Check water levels (for lead-acid)
